Chesapeake healthcare client is seeking a temporary recruiter to work in HR department to source, recruit and screen candidates to ensure they meet minimum quailifications for all job openings.
Consults with hiring managers to determine needs and qualifications for all job openings. Handles all internal transfer requests and employee maintenance records (ERM). Will be responsible for obtaining references, and verification of credentials and educational background and licensure where applicable. Will complete all necessary pre-employment screening to include any assessments, drug testing and background checks.
Will serve a liaison with local schools and community organizations designed to transition students into healthcare field. Makes public presentations at schools and organizations and attends career fairs.
Will work with external recruiters when necessary, and will arrange travel and lodging for out of town applicants
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 2 years recruiting and HR experience. Previous interviewing experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of People Soft or ther HRIS sofware required.
