The Blender position fills high-pressure gas mixes utilizing gravimetric, pressure/ temperature and dynamic blending techniques


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Operate and safely maintain equipment for pumping or repacking gases into cylinders
  • Perform all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections.
  • Ensure cylinders are adequately maintained
  • Regularly inspect and maintain pumping equipment and associated pressure gauges and monitoring devices.
  • Fill cylinders to proper pressure or weight, whichever is appropriate
  • Ensure cylinder-filling records are accurately maintained and that all required procedures are followed in order to comply with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed and any accident or injury is promptly reported to management.
  • Conduct periodic checks of plant for safe and efficient operation
  • Attend and participate in Safety meetings
  • Perform mathematical calculations
  • Understand basic compressor operation and maintenance
  • Understand basic liquid pump operations
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic equipment maintenance
  • Understanding of bulk product supply and daily bulk reading requirements.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Must be able to operate forklift and maintain forklift certifications.
  • Hazmat Certified.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of DOT Regulations.
